I...Damn, I'm sorry that it didn't work out. I was taking inspiration from you, and then this blog went silent for a while . . .

It really does seem that there isn't an outside. At least not yet.

I'm facing contradictions of my own. From 1980 to 2015, my only transportation was a motorcycle (for a year or two, I didn't even have that, so I used the buses), which has lower impact than a car. I live in a trailer from the 1980s, which doesn't even have interior heating any more.

Advancing arthritis and spinal disk problems put an end to that. Sudden access to more money is giving me a freedom I never had before to control my life. I'm now buying a car, and I'll need to make several trips from the L.A. area to Washington state to look at buying a new home. Which means my ecological footprint is about to increase drastically.

It saddens me and disillusions me. Then again, back when he was relatively sane, Greer did warn that it isn't possible to skip the Rust Age/scavenger stage and go straight to the ecotechnic society.Maureen Lycaonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12173546099968610862noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7294159349473540264.post-47525098303666015372018-03-15T13:21:33.820-07:002018-03-15T13:21:33.820-07:00I love you, and I'm proud of you for what you&...I love you, and I'm proud of you for what you've sacrificed in order to care for myself and the boys financially. The knowledge you've gained is an honor. It is a shame that a skill set so rare, and a talent so pure will forever remain far below the importance of money in this society. We'll always have our backyard and all the bamboo there within to enjoy. We will always have each other. Thank you for all you provide for us. <3Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7294159349473540264.post-69115797894376444712018-03-15T03:24:51.362-07:002018-03-15T03:24:51.362-07:00Those who believe that the coming green energy rev...Those who believe that the coming green energy revolution will save us are also delusional. It will simply allow us a little more time to complete our destruction of every living thing on this planet. paulnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7294159349473540264.post-91823510739702082342018-03-14T15:19:07.954-07:002018-03-14T15:19:07.954-07:00Too bad about the coons.
